Give - Away!! Needlebook and Pincushion

Hello everyone!  I'm pleased to announce that I have another little Give-Away on the go!  Up for grabs is a sweet needlebook embroidered with a tiny pink bear and inside are two felt sheets for storing all your needles.  The matching pincushion is embroidered with tiny flowers and  trimmed in cotton lace and glass beads.  Of course, the pins and needles are not included:)

As most of you know, I'm a doll and bear maker, so for this give-away I've decided to add a little bit of a challenge....  I'm looking for unusual/interesting names for up-comming Little Ladies, Artist Anime Bears and Paperclay dolls.  So, all you have to do is leave me a comment on my blog with a name or two and on Friday evening, August the 6th, I'll put all your names into a hat and draw out the winner.  I will then notify the lucky winner and as soon as I receive the address of where to mail them to, will send them on their way!

Best of luck to you all!

  6. I would love to be entered into your draw.
I like old fashioned names for my dolls and bears: Evangeline, Lily, Hattie, Lottie, Lydia, Rosalind, Beatrice, Florentine, Kitty. For more unusual names I google 'fairy names' or 'victorian names' or as a collector of asian ball jointed dolls googling japanese names is always useful :0)

  7. Shelly,

Oh Boy!! Pierre Bear is one of my favorites; Ruby Grace, Honor MacKenzie, and Sheridan for girls.

There are 'fairy name' generators online that are fun too...here is one:

    Thank-you for your generosity :-)

  10. I love old lady names for dolls, and you could do a color tie in like Beryl with emerald green eyes and really red hair. Fern could have a soft pale green for her colors with light browns. Iris is one I've always loved. Rich purple to violet with springy greens would be her colors. I love all of your work and would really love to get your giveaway things because they look so pretty and I really do need them, I'm currently using a magnet in a pill bottle to store my needles. Thanks

  11. I´m the only one here who doesn´t want to participate in your wonderful give-away, because I was the lucky winner the last time and I already have it.
I use it every day and I love it so much! It´s such a wonderful present.

I see that you already have many name ideas, great! I need to see a face before I think of a name, so if you ever want my opinion in a particular creature I will be happy to help!
